Stockfish 19
The chess engine that analyses positions in the LearnChess web app is Stockfish 19. It runs on your own device, as WebAssembly, through stockfish.js 19.0.1 by Nathan Rugg and contributors. We use the lite, single-threaded build, which carries a smaller neural network than the full engine.
Stockfish and stockfish.js are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 (GPL v3). You may use, study, share and change them under that licence.
- stockfish.js 19.0.1, source tag v19.0.1: the exact source of the engine files we serve.
- Stockfish, source tag sf_19: the upstream engine that stockfish.js builds.
- nn-61e7af4bb97d: the lite network by sscg13 and contributors.
- Licence file of stockfish.js 19.0.1 and the full text of the GPL v3.
